Budleigh Baptist Church We enjoy an all-ages Sunday morning service and modern worship with regular ministry. We share weekly prayer times along with home groups. We are situated on Little Knowle and you would be most welcome to join us. Visit for more information.

Temple Methodist Church The Methodist Church, which is located just across the road from the Tourist Information Centre, bears the name Temple Methodist, and has a reputation for youth work and friendliness. Budleigh Salterton Art Club The club meets monthly on Wednesday mornings and has a varied programme of talks and demonstrations. Three exhibitions of members’ work are held each year. Salterton Drama Club There is a long tradition of successful amateur dramatics at Budleigh Salterton. Since the group was founded in 1938, it has gone from strength to strength, finally acquiring its own theatre – the Salterton Playhouse – in 1970. The Playhouse is a large wooden building set next to the stream in Meadow Lane, and offers raked seating and full facilities for approximately 80 patrons. Find out more at

Budleigh Salterton Lions Club The Club was formed in 1980, based in sunny Budleigh Salterton and currently has 24 members, who live not only in Budleigh Salterton, but in many of the nearby villages including East Budleigh, Colaton Raleigh, Otterton, Knowle Village and Yettington. The Club is grateful to the people of Budleigh Salterton and the surrounding area for all the support they have given us at our various fund raising events.
